Delta-8 Concentrates Explained

There are so many new products being produced that have Delta 8-THC. However, there is a vague term that gets thrown around often called concentrates. These concentrates can include Delta 8 cartridges, edibles, and other products that you can vape. In this guide, we’ll explain what concentrates are and what Delta Extrax products are available in a concentrate form.

Understanding Concentrates

Understanding Concentrates

A concentrate is the end product from the process of extracting Delta-8 THC from the Hemp plant. The cannabinoids are distilled and broken down into a concentrated oil or a water-soluble. This results in various Delta-8 products, but we’ll be focusing on two products in particular – Dabs and Pearls.

If you’re unfamiliar with dabs it’s a concentrated form of Delta 8 that can look like hard candy or wax. The way it works is you will need to heat the concentrate in a special device called a dab rig or a Vaporig. Once the concentrate has melted you inhale the vapor that it produces. It can produce a very flavorful taste due to the added Terpenes, but the THC effects are very strong.

This is also one of our latest product launches scheduled to come out later this month. We are releasing our Tropical Candy Kush which is a Delta 8 concentrate. It has a fruity tropical aroma and it looks like hard candy-shatter. This is a very strong form of Delta 8, and you can expect to feel a well-balanced high from it.

What Delta-8 pearls are, it’s another concentrated version of Delta-8 that has been shaped into round balls; which are often made to resemble pearls – hence the name. You are able to dab pearls the same way you would a Delta-8 dab. However, other methods are available but require other special devices in order to enjoy it.

We are happy to announce that we will be launching our own Delta-8 pearls which are a Pineapple Express strain. You can expect the taste of pineapple along with other fruity notes. These pearls resemble more wax and tiny pearls that melt away in the rig or device that you use.

Other Concentrates

What you might not know is that although Delta-8 is a naturally occurring cannabinoid within the Hemp plant, it’s not that abundant. Therefore, in order to make Delta-8, Hemp has to go through a strenuous process in order to produce it. In other words, all of our Delta Extrax products are Delta-8 concentrates in one form or another.

How Delta-8 Concentrates Are Different

How Delta 8 Concentrates are Different

The reason why Delta-8 concentrates are different from organic products like flower is because Delta-8 is an extract. There is no naturally occurring product that produces high amounts of Delta-8 THC. On the contrary, Hemp produces high amounts of CBD, while Marijuana produces high amounts of Delta-9 THC. However, there is no plant that naturally produces high amounts of Delta-8 THC. Therefore, it takes a large amount of Hemp plants to produce a small amount of Delta 8.

So, we’re able to take concentrated forms of Delta-8 THC and make them into different products. There is no one product better than the other, it just depends on your preference. We often get asked which is our strongest product. This comes down to our Delta-8 edibles and tinctures because they are a more potent form of concentrated Delta-8 THC.

The important thing to understand about Delta-8 concentrates is that it’s an extract from the Hemp plant. Also, it can come in many different ways, but one of the most potent concentrates includes Delta-8 Dabs & Pearls. At its core, all Delta-8 is a form of concentrate; however, the type of concentrate you use depends on your preference.
