A tincture is a concentrated oil that is made by extracting the natural oils from the Hemp plant. However, Delta 8 THC is a little different because it is an extract on its own. You are able to enjoy a Delta 8 THC Tincture the same way you would a CBD Tincture. So, here is a guide on how to use Delta 8 THC Tinctures.
How Delta 8 Tinctures Are Made
Delta-8 tinctures are made in a similar way that CBD tinctures are made. The Delta 8 distillate is infused with a carrier oil. Also, the distillate is a concentration of Delta 8 THC created using the CO2 extraction method.
The Delta 8 and Delta 10 Tinctures that are made by Delta Extrax are oil-soluble. This means that our tinctures have an oil base which helps your body absorb the Delta 8 a lot better. The type of oil that we used is called MCT Oil which is a type of oil that gets digested by your body quickly.
How To Use A Delta 8 Tincture
Like all tinctures, the best way to use our delta-8 tinctures is sublingually. This means that you place approximately .50 ml of the tincture under your tongue. Keep the tincture under your tongue for about 20 – 30 seconds before swallowing.
When you allow the Delta 8 to sit under your tongue you’re allowing the mucus membrane to absorb it. This allows the Delta 8 to enter the bloodstream directly. You can expect to feel the onset of the delta-8 tincture as quickly as 40 minutes, but it may take as long as an hour and a half.
Delta-8 THC tinctures are incredibly versatile. You can add them to any food or drink. This opens up the possibilities for how you consume your tincture. You can add it to snacks, meals, smoothies, tea, coffee, or iced beverages. Because bottles of tincture are small, you can carry them conveniently and add a dose of tincture to your food when you’re out dining.
Because delta-8-THC contains mild psychoactive properties, it’s best to start with a low dose. Our tinctures come in 1000 mg strength, and we recommend taking half a dropper (.50ml) to ¼ of a dropper (.25ml). However, everyone is different and the dose that works for you will depend on your tolerance, body weight, metabolism, and etc.
There are 3 very distinct flavors to our Delta 8 THC Tinctures. Each one is packed with different Terpene profiles and strains. Here is a breakdown of each one of our Delta 8 Tinctures flavor:
This Chill tincture has a grape flavor that’s reminiscent of sweet fruit. You get subtle notes of sweetness along with a familiar flavor of a grape juice box. Also, the MCT oil tends to linger in our mouth after you swallow so be prepared with something to wash it down with. It’s very enjoyable and the added Terpenes are meant to enhance the relaxing vibes it gives.
Our Focus tincture has a spearmint-like taste that resembles a pack of spearmint gum. If you like mint, fresh-tasting flavors you’ll enjoy our Focus tincture. Also, the Terpenes that we add include Pulegone, Cedrene, and b-pinene; all of which help contribute to that spearmint flavor in this Tincture.
Finally, our Balance tincture has a sweet flavor of tropical passionfruit. This closely resembles sweet candy but in a more subtle way. When compared with our Chill tincture, this flavor has a more neutral candy flavor. You’ll love the well-balanced flavor of this tincture, hence the name – Balance.
One Final Recommendation
Enjoy this tincture at your own pace. If you’re looking for a more direct effect then we recommend taking it sublingually. However, if you love the flavors you can add it to your favorite food or drink in order to enhance the experience. Take as much or as little as you need, but do be sure to test a little bit at a time in order to know how you will react to it.
