What is THCa?

Although on its own, THCa doesn’t produce a high, when exposed to heat, it does get you high. Otherwise, it’s an acid, but when the carboxyl group in THCa is removed through heat, it’s transformed into THC, which gets you high.
What is Delta 9P THC?
Delta 9P THC stands for Tetrahydrocannabiphorol extracted from Delta 9 instead of Delta 8. These numbers matter after the word Delta because one is more potent than the other. Although they may seem the same on the surface, the chemical numbers tend to produce 2 different highs.
A Delta 9 THC high is stronger than a Delta 8 THC high because of where certain chemicals are located. What we mean by “stronger” is that your body absorbs more THC, producing a more potent high. However, the letter “P” also plays an important role in the type of THC.
The “P” in Delta 9P
The letter P in Delta 9P gives you an idea of the chemical breakdown in the type of THC you’re consuming. In this case, the P stands for Phorol, which signifies the chemicals in this THC are different than just regular THC.
Why should you care? Because Delta 9P THC is known to be 33X stronger than regular THC. It’s not that you’ll feel 33X higher with this chemical. It means that your body has a 33% chance of absorbing more that can produce a gnarly type of high.
Delta 8 THC
