How Similar Is Delta-8 to Delta-9?

Therefore, Delta-8 is king because it can be shipped across state lines where Delta-8 is legal. At the same time, Delta-9 (Marijuana) can’t be shipped legally even within states where it is legal because the Post Office falls under Federal regulation.

What makes Delta-9 Marijuana is the plant which it is extracted from. If you extract Delta-9 from a Marijuana plant, then it’s considered Marijuana. However, if you extract Delta 9 from a Hemp plant, it’s classified as Hemp.

The Marijuana plant has high concentrations of THC and low concentrations of CBD, and Hemp has low levels of THC and high levels of CBD. Although it’s more labor-intensive to extract THC from Hemp, it’s the only way we can sell Delta 9 online.

Another condition to sell Delta 9 online is having less than 0.3% of Delta 9. Although 0.3% is not enough to get the full experience, we’ve made the products bigger so they hit differently. 

You might be wondering why go through all that trouble. The simple reason is that Delta 9 is more potent and makes for a better experience when combined with Delta 8.

Why is Delta-9 More Expensive Than Delta-8?

When we refer to Delta 9, we’re referring to Cannabis/Marijuana. In states where Cannabis is legal, Delta 9 tends to be more expensive than Delta 8. The reason is that you don’t need a prescription or any conditions to buy. In addition, Delta 8 is not heavily taxed like Cannabis.

Can Anyone Buy Delta 8?

The answer is yes and no. You have to be over 18 or 21 (depending on the state) to buy Delta 8. However, there are no further restrictions like there are with Cannabis. In other words, you can buy as much Delta 8 as you want without needing a special license.

Your local vape shop or gas station will usually carry your favorite Delta Extrax products. However, that’s not the case with Marijuana because only specially licensed dispensaries carry Marijuana.

Marijuana Is More Expensive

You might not know this, especially if you live in a state where Marijuana isn’t legal but Delta 8 is, but Marijuana is expensive. It’s heavily taxed and most banks won’t even touch cannabis because of its legal status.
